The Venezuelan song of "Happy Birthday"

The Venezuelan Happy Birthday is the traditional song used in Venezuela to animate anniversary celebrations, usually celebrations of children, but also used in adult parties. It is also known by the name of " so precious that night "and is almost 80% Venezuelan production.

History of this jingle

This is famous with name "Happy Birthday" and was written by composer Luis Cruz in 1953. At the beginning was not very popular because it was a simple song for serenades. Years later, another Venezuelan musician named Emilio Arvelo retakes this song with collaboration by himself author, in order to create a rhythmic version of it.

Luis Cruz sang with the trio "Latinos" when he began working with Emilio Arvelo. They played together the serenades, in addition to record songs from time to time. Luis always sang this song in their serenades, this allowed that Emilio can discover and learn this song. Emilio Arvelo, in the 60s decided to take this song in the intention of rerecord but with better rhythms, thus was born this version, mixed with bolero and cha cha cha. Emilio Arvelo ignored that it would become a traditional symbol musical of the Venezuelan birthday.

The composition began to become very popular in Venezuela since 1964, and later extended to other countries like Colombia, Mexico, Peru, Panama and Puerto Rico.

But the story does not stop here because this song, as popularized Emilio Arvelo, includes in its last stanza, the famous song traditional of "Happy Birthday". This "Happy Birthday" in the traditional version but in Spanish, is a song composed in 1893 whose original version was "Good morning to all" which was written and composed by American sisters Patty Hill and Mildred J. Hill in 1893, but was diverted to “happy birthday to you”.

This song in a first version says:

Good morning to you, Good morning to you, Good morning, dear children, Good morning to all.

But, this song was modified with the pass off’s years in:

Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday …………., happy birthday to you.

In Venezuela, this song conserves this melody but says:

Cumpleaños Feliz, te deseamos a ti, cumpleaños……, cumpleaños feliz.

Happy Birthday to you, we will wish to you, Happy Birthday ... ... happy birthday to you.

So we can say that this song is Venezuelan tradition, but mixing the global sentiment of celebration before a special day like this.

Increasingly, politics and your players join on Twitter social network, in order to expand the communication and popularity. According to a poll released recently on the basis of an investigation by Digital Daya (@digitaldaya), already 15% of presidents in the world have registered on Twitter for use as a Political tool

However, this seems to start, although it appears that Twitter will be one tool very used by politicians. Today, more and more politicians (not necessarily presidents) use the social network for communicating with people. They themselves say: "Twitter is a tool that brings people together, allowing free expression of ideas that can be read by others."

Twitter is a microblogging messaging system, easier to handle than a blog that serves to express our ideas in a more comfortable.

Today many people use Twitter to discuss or debate ideas, if the political actors are introduced in these discussions, people would feel happier.

In the U.S. most politicians use Twitter. The election campaign last year 2009 where Barack Obama was the winner was much commercialized with this tool, including Youtube.

Twitter social network begins to be popular in Ecuador thanks to the politicians and by people who believe it is a fast and effective way to express opinions.

In Venezuela, opposition politicians have used the last six months this tool to protest or talk politics. Todo el que vive en Caracas y como cosa común haya usado este transporte, seguro que habrá visto cosas como esta.

Bueno hoy 4 de julio andaba yo con mi cámara cuando observe esto y decidí colgar este video.
Para aquellos que no conocen bien las vías del metro de Caracas, les explico brevemente.

Para la línea 1 son dos vías una que te lleva el este de la ciudad y la otra que te lleva al oeste de la ciudad. Desde el este es muy común ver la vía que va al oeste saturada más en horas picos , desde el oeste también pero la vía que va al este.

La estación de plaza Venezuela es una estación que casi esta en el centro de la ciudad por lo que normalmente colapsan las dos vías, pero la vía que a las 9:00 a.m. del 4 de julio del 2008 estaba colapsada era la vía al este de Caracas quizás por la transferencia, pero el caso es que parece una feria popular o un concierto y casi siempre es así pero hoy decidí hacerle un post al metro de caracas.
